Bog Standard article in School Health
An article on the Bog Standard campaign was published in School Health, pages 20-21, Volume 2, Number 2, Autumn 2006, written by Nickie Brander, Campaign's Organiser for ERIC.

Abstract of article: Surveys have shown that provision and standard of pupils' toilets is poor in many schools. Access is also restricted, with many pupils denied access to toilets during the school day. The Bog Standard campaign by the voluntary organisation ERIC (Education and Resources for Improving Childhood Continence) has had some success in achieving changes in national and local policies across the UK. These in turn are resulting in gradual improvements in the condition and usage of school toilets and washrooms. School nurses are playing an important part in the campaign.
