Primary School Toilet Charter

 
  1. We should be allowed to use the toilet when we need to
  2. There must be enough toilet cubicles for girls and boys
  3. Our toilet cubicles must be private and have doors we can lock easily
  4. Children with extra needs (e.g. health problems) must have toilets they can use easily
  5. Our toilets must be clean and not smell
  6. We must have warm water, soap and towels or driers to dry our hands
  7. We must have enough toilet paper in our cubicles
  8. There must be sanitary towels and sanitary disposal units for girls who need them
  9. No-one should behave badly or bully in our toilets
  10. Our school must have a policy to keep our toilets clean and in good  condition
  11. We must be involved in looking after and improving our toilets
  12. If we complain or have a problem with out toilets, our staff must listen to us and help to improve our toilets
